tis_fsc.pngThe Free Software Center is the partner you can trust in for Free Software! The center's aim is to bunch and to coordinate competences provided by various local, national and international enterprises and institutions, which are highly specialised in the Free Software area. The Free Software Center gathers and nets excellent competences in the Free Software sector by centralizing knowledge and experiences altogether, by means of its specialised services. This permits the center to strengthen the already existing know-how in South Tyrol and consequently to become the reference point for enterprises, public authorities, citizens, research facilities and for the Free Software Community.

The Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE)

fsfe_logo.pngThe Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) is a charitable non-governmental organisation dedicated to all aspects of Free Software in Europe. Access to software determines who may participate in a digital society. Therefore the freedoms to use, copy, modify and redistribute software - as described in the Free Software definition - allow equal participation in the information age.  Creating awareness of these issues, securing Free Software politically and legally, and giving people freedom by supporting development of Free Software are central issues of the FSF Europe, which was founded in 2001 as the European sister organisation of the Free Software Foundation in the United States.
